Things I love about my 21 month old

We REALLY like to play with the camera on my computer.  These are a few pictures from earlier today.  As I scrolled through our photo session, I realized the hundreds upon hundreds of pictures and videos I had of me and Brennan playing as we wasted time with the camera.  Prepare yourself for a future post of picture upon picture of Brennan from the viewpoint of the computer.

* Pronounces puppy, her most cherished item in this world, 'poppie'
* She said 'whoa' and 'what?!' in the right context.  For example, if she is running and stumbles, she looks up and goes: "Whoa!"  Or, if she has playdoh and sticks it on her thumb she'll say: "What?!"  Sometimes, she'll even add in a "What?!  Thas Cayzy." (That's crazy).  (it's really cute).
* We like to have dance parties to country music
* She likes to dance in general (and spin) and dances when she gets very excited about something
* She sometimes says "Thank you", but more often just says "Hmm hmmm" but with the right inflection in her voice so you know she is saying thank you
* Has started to call me "Sawah."  Normally when she wakes up, she calls out "Mooommmmmyyyyy", but recently it has been "Sawah!  Morning!  Sawah!"

She really likes to climb up on the rocking chair and read, eat, or just rock.  Just LOOK at those pigtails.

Christmas 2012

This first picture isn't necessarily from Christmas, just lately.  In order to prepare for the upcoming changing dynamics in our house I found a little baby for Brennan to carry around.  She will pick her up, put her on her shoulder, and go Shh Shh Shh, just like I taught her to.

Brennan's first experience meeting Santa didn't necessarily go as smoothy as I imagined it going...

Running away from Santa

Crying and clinging to me in fear when I tried to take her closer to him...

Bless that little face

We were able to spend a few fun days with the Sandifer crew and spent our first day going out to Aunt Janice's ranch.  It was fun for Brennan to see real, live horses and to climb around on the hay stacks with daddy

Her tea pot from Nana and Papa was quite the hit

Christmas morning

This tea pot brings out the cutest pretend play in this little one

First (of many) tea parties with Daddy

After Christmas we made our way to the mountains to spend a Hughes Christmas in Frisco.  First activity was going to the sledding hill and playing in the snow

Followed by some cousin love and wrestling!
